One of the best things to do here is eat. There are so many different things you can get here, so this post is all about food! Whether it be made out in town or something I make at home, reminiscing about American food :)
This is Southwest Chicken "Stoup" in a sourdough bread bowl. *drool*
Oh my, Sloppy Holloways :D Recipe Courtesy of Lewis and Allison Holloway! Sean devours this everytime!!
Some funky breakfast food from Family Mart!
Some awesome festival food! Yakisoba.
An Okinawan Staple! TACO RICE! Uh MAZING! :)
This is a Japanese burger joint. Their burgers are definitely different! I would kill for some Fuddruckers right about now!!
We ordered a combo pizza for the boys. Never again do that in a Japanese restaurant. Combo turned out to be a seafood combo of octopus, shrimp, and cuttlefish. Yum. *gag* Hey, the boys actually liked it, so I guess don't knock it until you try it!
Sooooo.....since we were literally right next door to a cute little soba place (as in we were sitting in the last booth of the burger place before it separated into the soba place.) we decided to get a small bowl of soba just for testing purposes.
That little red booth in the background is us :)
The soba was SO good! Of course, mama can never eat. My little starving children (husband included) gobbled it all up before I could barely get two bites in. *sigh* Maybe next time.
Sean definitely liked the drinks.
The burger place had little mini desserts, too, that were especially tasty.
My son licking the spoon and trying to make it stick to his nose. :) At least he's not licking the window this time!!
Some goodies from The Big 1. (yes that's the name of the store)
These were really good! They were like little marshmellow balls with blueberry filling :) YUM! Sean LOVED them!!
These are my Halloween foods :)
Snake Bake
My little cheese goblin! Isn't he cute?
We also tried another new restaurant called Bollywood Dreams. The curry was pretty good. Definitely better places on island though.
