You order a plate of the meat you want and what you want it marinated in, then you cook it yourself. It's technically called Yakiniku or Korean BBQ. It's awesome.

The shoes you wear when leaving the tatami seating. You don't wear shoes at all while sitting in there.
Like I said, Goen has become one of my favorite places! We went there with Melissa and her crew also!
