Walking Around Okinawa

A friend and I have started walking for excersize. It's something we can do with children. That's just part of the military life. We've found a few interesting things while walking about of base. Vending machines are EVERYWHERE. Even in the middle of nowhere. Im sure if we went on a hiking trip in the mountains, we'd find a vending machine strapped to a tree or something along those lines. Out here that's a very plausible thought :)

I seem to make my funniest finds in these vending machines.

I've also found some funny stuff at the stores:

We have a blast walking around and seeing what we can find!

The first picture is of a tomb. They are all over the place here. They are where the Japanese bury thier ancestors. Well, I shouldn't say bury. They are all cremated.

YES. That thing staring at me is a freaking bat the size of a house cat! UGH!

  1. I'm so impressed with your commitment to exercise! It's hard enough when you're single, but married with children - where does the day go? Keep it up!
