BOOORRRIIIINNNNGGG day.
Kyle helped me call every airline I could think of to find the best deal on plane tickets. None of the sites on the internet usually have the option for children.
The only thing we really did was go to the Kadena Air Terminal to turn in my Space A paperwork. That was fun. I get there to turn it in and realize Chris forgot to sign it. So I get to turn around and drive the 30mins back to pick him up and go right back to FINALLY get the paperwork processed. The guy said it shouldn't be a problem to get on next Friday's Space A flight, since it's not usually busy around this time. YAY! Im starting to freak out about the plane ride now. The thought of me against two kids under two on a 10+hr flight makes me a little nervous. To top it off, I hate flying. No, that's an understatement. Im terrified of flying! I've literally cried during takeoff on almost every flight I've been on. I don't understand why, because when I was younger I used to fly back and forth between parents all the time. You'd think I'd be used to it now. I wish it could be a nonstop flight also. There are two stops though. One in Yakota on Mainland and one in Alaska, then on to Seattle. Once we're in the air, Im usually ok. It's the takeoff that really freaks me out. Oh and turbulence. Just pray we don't have any or I might have an in flight heart attack. LOL
This is where we will be flying out of.
The POW memorial inside the terminal.
We Will Never Forget.
After turning the paperwork it it was around 645 so we decided to go to Family Night at the Tengan Castle restaurant on our base. They were playing Bingo when we got there, but they were in the middle of the last game, so we didn't get to play. We did get to participate in the raffle and Chris won a "Dad" prize! :)
Kyle was being a little ham, as usual!
Sean saying, "cheese" :)
