So today was pretty bland. Watched TV all morning, while Sean played with all his toys....
....and used his brother as a pillow! :)
Then once Chris got up after a long night of Daddy Duty, we decided to go get some soba at the Chinese Dragon! Yum!
Sean ate before we left for lunch because he usually doesn't eat the noodles, but as soon as my food came, of course he wanted some! :) Soba is something Im definately going to miss when we go back to the states. If we did find any place that made them anywhere near as good, I doubt they would be cheap! We paid 1280Y for lunch (around $13-14) and you get a HUGE bowl of soba, 2 fried chicken nuggets, and a side of goyza!
After lunch, we headed down to Ginowan City, right outside Camp Foster, to pay our car payment at Pit Stop. We're probably going to start looking there for a good deal on a car for Chris soon.
Sean took a nap on the way back home.
I was making BBQ beef sandwiches for dinner, but we didn't have any buns to make sandwiches with and the commissary is closed on Mondays, so we decided to get some fresh baked bread at Jimmy's Bakery right down the street from us.
We realized when we went in there looking for buns that most Japanese don't eat hamburgers.....so we opted for some Texas toast style bread!
After we got home, there was still a couple hours 'til dinner was done, so Chris played on the computer while Sean, Kyle, and I took a nap! *sigh*
After dinner and putting the boys to bed, we were craving something sweet. Chris went down the street to the A&W to get some root beer floats! We haven't had those in a while! You don't see many in the states anymore, but here they are as common as McD's!
This one is down the street from our house. There are lots of A&W's that are Sonic-style here also! There food isn't that great, but the rootbeer is awesome and so are the floats!
Yummy!
